Revolutionworks are a Bristol based ebike company that proudly manufacture all our products in-house. We want to make cycling accessible, address the environmental crisis and share our love of engineering, intuitive, lightweight and high quality products actually made in the UK by us!
Hugo and Mark founded Revolutionworks in 2016, after Hugo had worked on the concept for the Revos ebike conversion kit whilst completing his degree in motorsports engineering at Oxford Brookes. Revolutionworks mission is to combine reduction of carbon emissions, whilst at the same time making finely engineered products that people enjoy using. This started with our Revos ebike conversion kit and continued with the Whippet. The Whippet is engineered to be lightweight after we noticed that so many people were put off ebikes because they were so heavy. Designing and making the products all in house allows us to have complete control over the products produced. It also means that we can employ local people and keep down transportation costs. We think that's important. We take pride in our ability to adapt and meet the needs of our customers.
Along the way we’re having some fun! At the 2019 Cycle Show Revos received a Best in Show award from Bike Radar. In 2021 we appeared on the BBC’s Dragons’ Den. The Dragons were impressed by Revos, but we turned down investment because they wanted us to move production to China. (They sorta missed what Revolutionworks was about there - nevermind!)
